Flashing Stock ROM using SP Flash Tool ~ MediaTek Device


      Sometimes Its necessary to go back to original OS (Stock ROM). Improper Installation of Custom ROM, Problem after Upgrading OS, Virus, Other Problem like Brick of phone can compel users to get back to factory ROM. Normally its the job for by Mobile Phone Service Agents or Customer Care. Which might incur extra costs. But You can easily do it at your home. No need to get help from others. Remember its tricky. Can Hard brick or destroy your phone. So do at your own risk.

   What required
================
  • MediaTek USB VCOM drivers [See My Post]
  • SP Flash Tool [Latest version]
  • Stock ROM- SP Tool Flashable (Your Android Phone Company's ROM)
  • USB data Cable

   How to Flash 
================

  • Download the Stock ROM & Extract it to a convenient Place (See your Phone's Forum/Google)
  • Install MediaTek USB VCOM drivers (See My Post)
  • Now open SP Flash Tool Folder, Click the Icon : SP Flash Tool
  • Click Download Agent Button & Select "MTL_AllInOne_DA"
  • Click Scatter-loading button & GO to the Extracted Stock ROM folder
  • Select "MTxxxx_Android_scatter_emmc.txt"(xxxx will vary by your Phone's Stock ROM) 
  • Ignore any message that appear
  • The SP Flash tool will load with all files selected
  • Now Turn off your phone, remove the battery, SD Card & SIM Cards.
  • Hit Download button and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable. (0% will show)
  • After Connecting Phone, the process will start and a red progress bar will appear. (% will increase)
  • After the red progress bar is complete, there will appear a purple progress bar. (%  will start again)
  • Right after the purple progress bar is complete you will see the yellow progress increasing with %
  • When the yellow bar goes to 100%, A popup (Download OK)  will come with a green circle and  message.
  • You can now safely disconnect your phone and put back SD Card & SIM Cards.
  • Turn your phone on.
  • :) You have successfully flashed your Mediatek Android, Just like a Hardware Egineer :)

Installing Custom Recovery using SP Flash Tool

     Earlier Posts I have shared the technique to install Custom Recovery by Mobile Uncle Tool. For Using MTK Mobile Uncle Tool you must root your phone.
